Here’s a quick video review I did of the Fyland Tactical Flashlight available on Amazon. Check it out!
“No one’s coming for your guns!”
How many times have you heard that, either in person, or when discussing gun control online? I’ve had friends say it. I’ve had acquaintances say it. I’ve had anonymous strangers say it. I’ve had supposedly “Pro-Gun” Democrats say it times beyond counting, and I’ve had allegedly middle-of-the-road folks say it. Each time I hear it I respond with a dissertation on the history of Gun Control in this country, but no matter what I say it goes in one ear and out the other.
Maybe people will believe the words straight from the horse’s mouth.Continue reading “The Democratic Debate Exposed Their Agenda”

I’d like to start this post by clarifying something. I am NOT an NRA Hater. I haven’t always been a member, that’s true, but I’ve always been a supporter, and I’ve always believed in the stated mission of education, training, and defending the Second Amendment.
I believe that our country NEEDS a strong NRA. I believe that if the NRA had never existed our gun rights would be far lesser than they are now. The NRA has done a great job of SLOWING the decay of our firearms freedoms, despite what I perceive to be a lackluster performance at RESTORING what freedoms we’ve lost. I know there are people, perhaps some of you reading this right now, who say that the NRA has done nothing but compromise our rights away a bit at a time- and it can certainly look that way. However, I suspect that by sitting at the table when these laws are made and by being a part of the process the NRA has prevented far worse things from happening to our rights.
I say all of this so that the reader may know where I’m coming from when I talk about the current state of the NRA.Continue reading “A Letter From The NRA- And My Response.”
In this video, Ruger Ec9s Review And Field Strip, I give you my first impressions of what I think is a contender for the title of King of the Budget Pistols, and I show you how to disassemble the thing. At first glance, I think this would make a great carry pistol for concealed carry on a budget, or a good choice for the first time gun buyer! It fits nicely in the role of a pocket pistol, and is almost unnoticeable on your belt.
And here’s a shoutout to my local gun shop- Sphon’s CCW and Armory!
As those who follow the Youtube Channel probably already know, I met Hap from Newbold Targets at the USCCA Expo in Louisville. Newbold was kind enough to send me some samples to review and I gotta tell ya- I LIKE THEM! They’re easy to set up and use, and you don’t have the worries associated with steel, like backsplatter, rust, and portability. The projectiles pass right through the Newbold targets so ricochets aren’t an issue. This lets a shooter get as close as they want to the target without fear- something which could be especially helpful for letting a new shooter get confidence-building hits.
All in all, I highly recommend Newbold’s innovative line of targets!
You can find them HERE.
Yep, there’s no other way to describe it- I’ve been lazy. I haven’t posted SHIT here in a long time… too long.
Looks like I have to change that…
This look at CCW Breakaways Concealed Carry Pants is a re-up of a great video that I deleted by accident! I met Jay from CCW Breakaways at the USCCA Concealed Carry Expo, and I was intrigued by his unique, innovative product. I pocket carry a LOT, and I was VERY glad to see this method of carrying a larger pistol in a deeper concealment. These are PERFECT for use in a “gray man” role. Look for a more in-depth review in the very near future…
The world lost a giant personality yesterday. R. Lee Ermey, best know for his portrayal of Gunnery Sgt. Hartman in Full Metal Jacket, went to the Parade Ground in the sky due to complications related to pneumonia. He was 74.
One thing is absolutely certain: The current residents of the Barracks in Heaven had BETTER get their shit squared away ASAP. The Gunny would tolerate no less.
I met a humble Titan yesterday at the USCCA Concealed Carry Expo, and when I use that phrase to describe the man I’m not engaging in (much) hyperbole. Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation is a genuine, friendly, unassuming, down to earth gentleman when you meet him, but make no mistake: his accomplishments, and those of the organization he founded stand colossal in the world of Second Amendment activism.
